TECH FOR GOOD: INNERDIGITAL ENHANCES MORRISTOWN HAMBLEN HUMANE SOCIETY’S NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE

Morristown, TN – July 17, 2023 – InnerDigital, a leading provider of Managed IT Services, is proud to announce the successful completion of a pro bono project for the Morristown Hamblen Humane Society (MHHS). The project involved the installation of a state-of-the-art wireless Mesh Network System, a new Gigabit Switch, and a comprehensive cloud backup solution, significantly enhancing the Humane Society’s technological capabilities.

The Morristown Hamblen Humane Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and rehoming of animals in need, has been serving the community of Morristown, TN since 1972. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for animals while they wait for their forever homes. This project will help MHHS continue to provide excellent care and security for the animals in their charge. Currently, the animal shelter houses an average of 75-80 animals a day.

InnerDigital, known for its secure, reliable and innovative network solutions, donated its expertise and resources to this project. The new wireless Mesh Network System will increase security and signal capacity throughout the facility, ensuring a more efficient communication network. The addition of a new Gigabit Switch will upgrade security and provide the existing surveillance cameras with a more stable and strong connection, enhancing the safety of the animals and staff at the facility.

In addition to the network enhancements, InnerDigital has also implemented a robust cloud backup solution. This advanced system provides MHHS with automatic daily backups of their critical data. The solution ensures that the shelter’s essential information is protected and easily recoverable in the event of data loss.
