InnerDigital at MSP NXT 26: Bringing the Latest in AI and Automation Back to Our Clients

This week, the InnerDigital team is in Austin, Texas for MSP NXT 26, NinjaOne's first conference built for MSP leaders. We're spending three days in keynotes, workshops and conversations with other providers, with one goal: bring back the ideas that will make a real difference for the businesses that rely on us.

Here's what stood out, and what it means for you.

1. AI is already in your business, so it needs a plan

One of the biggest themes in Austin was AI, and especially "shadow IT": employees using AI tools and apps that nobody in IT has reviewed. It's happening at businesses of every size, and it can put company data at risk. The answer isn't to ban AI. It's to put clear guidelines in place, such as an acceptable use policy, so your team can use AI safely and productively. We're helping our clients do exactly that.

2. Automation that works when you aren't looking

Automation can handle patching, monitoring and routine fixes in the background, and our technicians can focus on the problems that need a person. The key lesson from the conference is that automation only helps if it's reliable. Poorly built automation creates more problems than it solves. We're focused on automation that keeps working as our clients grow, so you get faster fixes and fewer interruptions.

3. Securing Microsoft 365 & Google for Work

For most businesses, Microsoft 365 and Google for Work hold email, files and daily workflow, which makes them top targets for attackers. Sessions on securing M365 at scale, email security and stopping social engineering reinforced what we tell clients every day: strong sign-in protection, careful configuration and ongoing monitoring matter.

4. Stopping threats before they become breaches

Attacks are getting more convincing, and attackers are using AI to move faster. We fight back with AI of our own. Our managed endpoint detection and response (EDR), powered by SentinelOne, uses AI to watch every protected device around the clock, spot suspicious behavior as it happens, and stop threats automatically, often before they can spread. Our team monitors alerts and steps in when it matters, so our clients stay protected without having to think about it.

5. Simpler tools, faster answers

Fewer disconnected tools means quicker troubleshooting and clearer reporting. A connected view of your devices, users and security lets us find the cause of an issue faster and keep you informed along the way.

What it means for you

You don't need to become an AI or security expert. You need a partner who is paying attention, separating what's useful from what's hype, and bringing you practical improvements that fit your business and budget. That's the approach we've taken since 2008, and it's why we're in Austin this week.
